Our Story

Founded in Long Beach, CA, Nitche Interiors is a full-service interior design studio rooted in purpose, practicality, and beauty. We specialize in transforming everyday spaces into thoughtful, refined environments that feel as good as they look.

We work closely with homeowners across Orange County, Los Angeles County and beyond to design homes that are approachable, elevated, and deeply personal — not cookie-cutter or overly polished.

You won’t find us imposing a specific aesthetic or rushing through selections. Instead, we focus on collaboration and craftsmanship.

Alicia Friedmann

Principal

A Long Beach native, Alicia earned her BA in Psychology from UCSD and later studied interior design at UCLA Extension. With over two decades of experience, she brings a thoughtful, intuitive approach to every project and is known for her calm presence and genuine connection with clients.

Madison Serrano

Designer

Madison is a graduate from FIDM with a BA in Design and an AA in Visual Communications. She has been a part of the team for 7 years. She has great intuition, which is evident in her designs and client communication.
