Iroquois Project

This East Long Beach project was a true whole-home transformation, combining a substantial addition with a complete interior remodel. Working alongside Jeannette Architects and 2VM SoCal Construction, we designed the interiors throughout the home from the kitchen and bathrooms to the finishes, fixtures, custom cabinetry, furnishings, and finishing details.

Our clients are a busy, active family who wanted a home that felt beautiful and pulled together, but also comfortable and functional for everyday life. They were thoughtful and engaged throughout the process while also trusting our team to guide the many decisions that come with a renovation of this scale.

In the kitchen, crisp white cabinetry is layered with dramatic natural stone countertops and backsplash, a large waterfall island, warm brass accents, and light wood flooring. Warmer wood tones appear elsewhere in the home through white oak cabinetry and custom built-ins, creating contrast while connecting the spaces.

Each bathroom was given its own personality through a different combination of cabinetry, tile, lighting, and finishes. Blue cabinetry and handmade-look tile bring color into one bath, while dimensional neutral tile, terrazzo-inspired flooring, natural stone, and brass and black accents appear throughout the others.

The furnishings were considered as part of the overall design rather than as a separate finishing layer. Comfortable upholstery, warm woods, window treatments, lighting, and custom built-ins help make the newly remodeled spaces feel established and personal.

With a project this extensive, one of our priorities was making sure the addition and existing home didn't feel like two separate spaces. The finished home feels cohesive, comfortable, and distinctly theirs designed around the way this family lives now and for the years ahead.
