This South Pasadena full home remodel is proof that thoughtful design is never defined by budget alone, but by the care and intention behind every decision. From the beginning, this renovation felt collaborative, creative, and incredibly rewarding. Our clients, a young family with wonderful taste and a clear vision for their home, were such a joy to work with throughout the entire process.

As part of this full-scale remodel, we thoughtfully reimagined nearly every surface and detail throughout the home. Ceilings were raised, walls were opened, plumbing was reoriented, and electrical layouts were redesigned to better support the way the family wanted to live day to day. From slab materials and tile selections to wallpaper, paint colors, flooring, lighting, doors, and even door hardware, every element was intentionally layered into the design.

Designed in a soft California style, the interiors balance timeless neutrals with rich texture, subtle pattern, and a mix of natural and refined materials. Marble, ceramic, and porcelain surfaces were layered throughout the home, while brass accents added warmth against white oak cabinetry and wood flooring. The result feels relaxed, elevated, and deeply livable while still maintaining a sense of sophistication.

Because the clients had such a strong sense of style, the selection process felt especially fluid and collaborative. Presentation meetings quickly became one of our favorite parts of the project, and every design conversation reflected the trust and creativity that shaped the home from beginning to end.

One of the most rewarding aspects of this South Pasadena remodel was seeing how dramatically the home transformed while still feeling warm and approachable for family life. What began as a more traditional layout ultimately became a highly functional California-inspired home layered with thoughtful details, soft textures, and meaningful design choices throughout.

The completed renovation feels elevated yet welcoming, refined yet comfortable a home that reflects not only beautiful design, but also the people who live within it.
