San Felipe Project

For this addition-remodel, we embraced the modern farmhouse aesthetic in blending warmth and texture throughout the home. From the early stages of interior design planning through construction facilitation, we remained closely involved in every phase of the project to help bring the vision to life.

As with many remodels, unexpected challenges naturally arose during construction. Part of our role was helping navigate those moments as they happened, working closely with the contractor and clients to problem solve and keep the project moving forward thoughtfully and smoothly. Anyone who has been through a renovation knows there are always a few “look what we found behind the wall” moments along the way.

As you will often hear us say, our clients were such a joy to work with throughout the process. Together, we layered pops of color alongside rich textures and natural wood elements to create spaces that feel welcoming, relaxed, and full of character.

One feature the clients especially love is the electric fireplace in the living room, which adds warmth and atmosphere without occupying unnecessary interior space. Thoughtful functionality like this became an important part of the overall design approach.

We also used semi-custom cabinetry throughout the kitchen and bathrooms, carefully tailoring the layouts and details so they functioned with the same intentionality and elevated feel as fully custom work.

The transformation of the home was significant. What once felt like a basic and predictable layout now feels unique, personal, and reflective of our clients who lives there. Most importantly, the home carries a sense of comfort and fun that welcomes the clients every time they walk through the door.
